View Session Transactions

This function allows administrators to troubleshoot issues with online courses.

Go to Tools > View Session Transactions in the administrator console.  The following screen will appear:

Under Name/Employee Number, begin typing a user's last name or Employee Number, and click to select the correct one from the drop-down when it appears.

In the Resource field, begin typing the resource title or open the drop-down box to view all online resources that the selected user has accessed.  Select the desired resource.

The screen will refresh with your search results.

On the Session Data tab, each unique number under Session ID represents a different launch of the resource.

Date
The launch date.
NumData
The numerical data associated with the Element.  For example, the assessment score or amount of time spent on the course.
CharData
"C" represents a completed course.  "I" represents incomplete.

If the course shows as complete but there is no score, the user must retake the assessment.

If the course shows a score but is marked Incomplete, the user did not achieve a passing score and must retake the assessment.

If the course is a SCORM course, the following data will display on the SCORM Data tab:

The Interactions tab will show you how the user responded to individual questions on the assessment, if applicable.

Click Export in the top toolbar to export the data to an Excel file.
